In August 2023 planning approval was submitted for the conversion of an existing stables block which is currently used for storage and to house livestock to form three units of self-catering visitor accommodation within an existing farm complex. The reasons for the development are for agricultural and economic diversification for the existing farm. The existing stable block is constructed in solid masonry construction and benefits from many original features including sandstone heads, cills, and coping stones. The roof is covered in natural slate. The development is centred around a cluster of important trees are located centrally within the courtyard area. This greatly enhances the setting of the stable block.
