Planning and Building Regulations Approval was secured for the extension and remodelling of this tired looking detached property located immediately adjacent to the River Wyre in Catterall.  The development included a large single storey rear kitchen extension along with adjoining triple garage and first-floor residential annexe above. The site is located in an area of considerable flood risk. Therefore careful consideration was given to the site layout. A landscaped bund wall was also proposed to repel flood water should the river burst its banks.
